Hot day, polymer clay, and a broken down car…what a way to spend a Monday!
Now you are all asking what do a hot day and a broken car have to do with polymer clay? Well, let me tell you. Yesterday I took my 86 year old aunt to her doctor’s appointment and we decided to run some errands afterwards. I needed some blue clay to make some 4th of July projects so we stopped at A.C.Moore. By this time we were hungry and decided to head to the new Golden Corral which is next to the Michael’s store. My aunt uses a wheelchair and we were fortunate to get a handicapped space right in front. So we eat, come out and the car won’t start. Battery completely dead.
Two weeks of 40 degree weather but the car dies on the day it is 95 degrees and I have polymer clay in the back seat!
My cousin’s husband, Bob, comes to the rescue with jumper cables but the car won’t start . I am baking at this point just like the polymer clay. Bob took my aunt home and I am left waiting for the tow service to arrive. While waiting, I go into Michael’s to cool off and check to see if their polymer clay is the same price as at A.C. Moore. It is and they were all sold out of the blue clay. Sigh, I remember the good ole day when polymer clay was 49 cents a pack. Finally made it back home by 7:00. The car needs a new alternator.
Now you know why your polymer clay videos won’t be ready until tomorrow.
