Busy day today editing videos for October and one of them is a Halloween Clown pin.
When the kids were younger, we took them to the circus and they were always left in tears when the clowns came to our seats. The clowns were not even scary looking like the Halloween clown. Well, 20 plus years down the road, my son’s favorite for October is the Halloween clown. Now mine is not Pennywise but my son is a huge Stephen King fan and I am sure that is why the clown spoke to him.
In the October members section, you will also find a lesson to make a mummy pin and I am actually speaking on it. Wow, you get to hear my “lovely” voice. Anyway, I actually have a tale to tell about myself when I was about 7 and we had just arrived in the USA. We were living in Connecticut and my father had purchased a small tv…only black and white in those days (1956). My brother and I watched “The Mummy”, an old movie from the 30’s I think and I was never so frightened in my life. I would have been a puddle of jell-o if I had seen a Halloween clown back then.
We all have our scary stories. I would love to hear yours even if it doesn’t include a Halloween clown or Mummy.
So here is a look at the clown and Mummy we will be making in our lessons for October. If you would like to join us for the fun click here: Ornament Academy. We would love to have you.
