Ornament Academy’s little guy would like to wish you a Happy Groundhog Day.
As you can see, our little groundhog, Rudy, has emerged from his sleep and saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter are ahead of us it seems. The groundhog looks quite a bit like a beaver I believe. In Connecticut where I grew up, one lived in the stone wall behind my parents’ house but we called him a woodchuck. Happy Groundhog Day everyone. Give yourself a treat today and watch Groundhog Day with Bill Murray.
The flu has me grounded this week but hopefully I will be back on my feet soon. Like everyone else, I hate being sick but luckily I am feeling better. Hot bowls of soup have sustained me the past few days along with plenty of fluids. I hope you all are well. This past month, I have taken my brother to many appointments in the hospital and , unfortunately for me, a woman sitting next to me in one of the waiting areas, was coughing and sneezing the entire time. Sometimes you just can’t get away from it.
Have a Happy Groundhog Day and I hope he predicted the weather you wanted!
